The Darrington Firefighters Association (DFA) is a registered 501(c)(3) organization with the mission of supporting the personnel and citizens of Darrington Fire District #24 through community outreach, education, and fire prevention.
DFA is an independent non-profit organization governed by a board of directors. All Darrington Fire District #24 volunteers and support staff are automatically members of DFA. Darrington Firefighters Association is the successor organization to the Darrington Volunteer Fireman’s Association which existed previously. The current DFA was founded in June of 2023 and was granted federal 501(c)(3) status in February of 2024.
